This team gave the best service! They were fast and sufficient. All my concerns were addressed and I’ll definitely be back for my future tire needs.
The staff were attentive and friendly.
The America’s tire store in Pasadena is really outstanding. I’ve been going there for years and it’s always a really positive experience.
Everything & everyone was great!
I came in on a Wednesday to have new tires installed, and initially the experience was great. The service was quick, and I was in and out in under an hour. However, while driving home, my tire pressure warning light came on. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to return until Friday. When I brought the vehicle back, I was told that two of my TPMS (tire pressure monitoring system) sensors were not communicating properly and that one sensor was completely nonfunctional. Before the tire installation on Wednesday, all four sensors were working correctly and no warning light was displayed on my dashboard. After the service, three of the four sensors were no longer functioning properly. During my return visit, Christopher offered to replace the sensors for $64 each, with labor waived. After thinking about it, I didn't feel it was reasonable for me to pay for sensors that were working when I brought the vehicle in but were not working when I left. To better understand my options, I called again later and spoke with Norman, who offered the same sensors for $50 each. The difference in pricing only added to my confusion about how this situation was being handled. I purchased the car used about a year ago, so there is no way for me to know the age of the sensors. They could be original, or they could have been replaced shortly before I purchased the vehicle. I was told that sometimes older sensors can fail or experience communication issues after being removed from the wheels during a tire change. While I understand that possibility, there is no way to confirm that age or condition was the cause in this case. Additionally, because the TPMS sensors were never scanned when I arrived or before I left, there is no record of their condition before the work was performed. If the sensors truly needed replacement, Wednesday's tire installation would have been the perfect opportunity to identify that and replace them at the same time. Instead, I left with a warning light that wasn't there when I arrived and am now being asked to pay for additional repairs without any documentation showing the sensors had a problem beforehand. What I can say with certainty is that there was no TPMS warning light on my dashboard before the tire installation, and there was one immediately afterward. I don't think it's right for America's Tire to charge me for additional repairs when the sensors were functioning properly before the tire service, regardless of their unknown age. While I appreciate the quick tire installation and the staff's willingness to discuss the issue, I am disappointed that I am being asked to pay for a problem that appeared only after the work was performed
If you want your service done as quickly as possible, schedule it online, and they will get it done. But if you don't want your rims, hub caps, or anything damaged, DO NOT COME HERE. Over the years, I have witnessed the technicians aggressively pry off my hub caps, let them fall to the ground, and drag them to the side. You might ask, then, why do I come back here? It's because my car is already old and beaten up and just need a quick tire rotation. However, this experience happened to a friend of mine, whose car is new and cleaner, and traumatized them.
Pasadena store is the worst run store i have ever been to since the manager Joe has left. Employees are slow and do not care about their customers. When you go to get air they even ignore you. Terrible run Americas tire location.
I’ve been a customer for the last 16 years, when buying tires, they have the best price and they also will match others. Once you buy, their commitment to you is great!! They will service the bought tires as long as you have the vehicle (free rotation, and balancing). They provide the best tire service.
Great employees and super fast tire change.
