What we offer for warranties and tire care

What manufacturer warranties typically include

Many brands include warranties with new tires. Highlights often include mileage coverage, workmanship/materials protection, and a satisfaction trial period. Some plans also include complimentary roadside benefits like spare tire change and towing (in some cases up to 150 miles if you’re stranded). Coverage and terms vary by brand.

Understanding common warranty types

Treadwear (mileage/time) warranties

Manufacturers often promise a certain number of miles or years under normal use. As a general safety guide, tires are past standard usability at 6 years in service or when tread depth is below 2/32". You can measure tread depth yourself or have a professional verify. You can also find build week/year on the tire sidewall.

Workmanship and materials

Most brands cover defects from manufacturing. Many will replace a tire outright if a defect is found within the first 2/32" of tread life. Watch for any manufacturer recall notices.

Satisfaction trials

Many brands offer around 30 days to try the tires. If you’re not satisfied, you may be eligible for a refund or credit per the program’s terms.

What usually isn’t covered

Improper maintenance or misuse can void coverage. Activities like racing, burnouts, drifting, siping/shaving, extreme off‑roading, vandalism, or using tire chains may negate a warranty. Lacking service records can also make claims difficult.
