Nitto Recon Grappler AT Treadwear and Warranty
Nitto offers a Limited Warranty for all LT tires purchased and used in the United States. It covers tires to the first 1/32” treadwear or less than 25% total wear in eligible tires with a free replacement, including mounting and balancing costs. More than 25% wear will be prorated for eligible tires.
As an added confidence booster, the Recon Grappler AT is backed by a 55,000-mile warranty.
However, if you want extra coverage, you can add our exclusive Certificates, which will protect your Nitto tires all the way down to 3/32” of tread. If we can’t safely repair your covered tire, we’ll give you a new replacement.

While my rig is also my daily driver so I've mostly driven highway/city, I've taken my truck on 3 overland trips since install and am very impressed. Ride quality is smooth, only a mild increase in road noise, and they've gotten me through steam crossings, deeply rutted gravel and dirt roads with zero issue. They've handled well when we've gotten our PNW rain on both highway and surface streets. My only downside is that my fuel economy went down by almost 2 mpg, but that was to be expected. I got the tires along with new, smaller diameter wheels, so who knows how much each contributed to the change. Highly recommend!
