Love the tires, price and service.
I’ve been a Discount Tire customer for more than 20 years, dating back to when I worked for the company in high school. That’s why it disappoints me to say the experience has changed. The service itself is still professional, and the work has always been reliable. My frustration is with how sales-focused every visit has become. I come in to buy tires and have them serviced, but I end up spending too much time declining tire pressure monitor replacements, windshield wipers, and other add-on products. It feels like every interaction has turned into another sales pitch. I understand employees have sales goals, and I don’t fault them for doing their jobs. But as a long-time customer, I’d rather the focus return to what made Discount Tire stand out: great prices, honest recommendations, and efficient, reliable tire service. I’ll continue using Discount Tire because I trust the quality of the work, but I’m no longer the die-hard advocate I used to be. I hope the company remembers that the customer experience is what built its reputation in the first place.
