Goodyear Wrangler Duratrac

Enter the Wrangler DuraTrac.

A member of the Wrangler family of tires, this is the one everyone with a truck, SUV or CUV is after. Built with aggressive off-road features that shine when it’s time to switch into 4x4 while combining design elements that promote consistent on-road comfort and dependable traction in winter weather, the Wrangler DuraTrac is Goodyear’s answer to the high demands of the all-terrain tire segment.

Goodyear Wrangler DuraTrac Features

Take a moment to study the chunky all-terrain tread design and blocky sidewall of the Wrangler DuraTrac.

Clearly, it’s a tire built to get you almost anywhere you’d want to go off-road while also being able to keep you from getting stuck in mud, sand, and even snow.

Goodyear is counting on the DuraTrac to carry on the long pedigree of performance it has established on the trail with its Wrangler family of tires, and the following features spell out exactly how the Wrangler DuraTrac sets itself apart not only from other Goodyear Wrangler tires, but against any other all-terrain tire on the market.

Features of the Goodyear DuraTrac include:

  • TractiveGroove Technology creates traction over mud and snow.
  • Shoulder blocks with self-cleaning properties eject gravel and rocks, dried or wet mud, dirt, and any other debris that might get stuck in its tread.
  • Oversized shoulders extend out from the rim of the wheel to protect from slices and punctures while shielding your wheels from damage.
  • The Wrangler DuraTrac is 3PMSF/Severe Snow Certified for utility and traction in extreme winter conditions (and some LT sizes are studdable).

On top of its impressive array of off-road features, Goodyear also figured out how to make the Wrangler DuraTrac quiet, by angling its center tread blocks both to increase lateral stability and road-holding ability on tight turns while reducing tire noise at highway speeds

Goodyear Wrangler DuraTrac Treadwear and Warranty Info

Goodyear made sure that the Wrangler DuraTrac would be a long-wearing tire that you’ll get a lot of value and satisfaction out of. But when you put a set on your pickup truck, SUV or CUV, you’re getting an additional vote of confidence in the DuraTrac from its 50,000-mile warranty from Goodyear.

And if you want the most robust protection for your new Wrangler DuraTracs available in the entire tire industry, Discount Tire’s exclusive Certificates will cover them on down to 3/32” of wear. In the extremely unlikely event these tires fail, you’ll get a brand-new replacement if it can’t be repaired.

(You can add our Certificate coverage in the cart of your order.)

The moral of the story: throw a set of Goodyear Wrangler DuraTrac tires on your vehicle and everyone else will be following your line on the trail or through the job site.

I'm on my third set of Duratracs. Its the only tire I will run on my F350 Dually. Driven from coast to coast on these tires pulling trailers in all sorts of conditions dry, wet, dirt and snow. DuraTrac's are a strong tire and withstand abuse. No concerns doing 80 through Death Valley at 125F or handling snowy roads through the Colorado Rockies. The winter handling is impressive even when finding yourself the only one on the road with two feet of snow. It digs in, cuts a trail and gets you home safely. I recommend them to anyone needing a tough tire for their truck.

Only complaint is the tire pressure tends to run low often. Brought back to Discount Tire twice asking them to look and add more pressure (I had added air multiple times previously). My Discount Tire was never able to fix it.
