General Grabber APT
General Grabber APT
Looking for an all-terrain tire for your SUV, crossover or light truck that combines winter weather and on/off-road performance? That would be the General Grabber APT. Some key features include:
This is a strong and durable all-terrain tire perfect for crossovers, SUVs and pickups.
The Grabber APT utilizes alternating shoulder scoops and staggered grooves for strong traction in loose terrain like snow, dirt and gravel.
Strong outside shoulders deliver precise turn-in responses, giving you the confidence to drive wherever and whenever.
It showcases General’s StabiliTread™ tech which delivers a responsive and comfortable ride on and off the road.
For durability, you’ll find General’s Duragen construction useful with its wide, flat footprint that aids in even treadwear, handling response and braking power.
For a quiet and comfortable ride on regular streets, you’ll love the Comfort Balance Technology which keeps everything smooth and peaceful.
It comes with the 3 Peak Mountain Snowflake rating, meaning that it is certified for severe weather service by the U.S. Tire Manufacturer’s Association (USTMA).
Some sizes are not certified with the 3 Peak Mountain Snowflake rating; please check your tires for the symbol or consult with your tech.
The Grabber APT was initially developed as an OE tire for the Nissan Titan with more sizing available for other pickup trucks, crossovers, SUVs and Jeeps.
The Grabber APT comes with a 60,000 mile limited warranty.

F-150
Put them on my 02 F150 2wd, they definitely grab as the name says. A decent affordable tire that would be even better if my truck was 4wd.

Just prior to buying tires, I lifted my 3rd Gen 4Runner 2.5", so haven't fully tested on road cornering limits. As well, due to outdoor parks, beaches and general Covid-19 closings, I have not driven in true off-road driving. But in the recent weather experiences in the past 5 months, I've been very satisfied with the General Grabber APT.
