Firestone Winterforce 2 Winter Tires
Freezing temps, snow-blanketed roads and icy streets: winter can be a challenging drive, but it can be as confident and easy as a summer joy ride when you’ve got the right winter tires. The Firestone Winterforce 2 is the tire for the job.
Firestone Winterforce 2 Features
While others bemoan the arrival of winter, you can face it with peace of mind when you outfit your ride with the Firestone Winterforce 2. A winter warrior designed for confidence no matter what those winter skies send your way, the Winterforce boasts impressive grip all winter long.
If the mercury in your area often dips below 45 degrees, this is the tire for you. Featuring a special cold weather compound that adapts to changes in temperature, the Winterforce 2 can perform whether it’s a little chilly or full-on polar.
And because they know that the cold isn’t the only challenge winter brings, Firestone designed the Winterforce with an aggressive directional tread pattern that slices through water, slush and snow. Precipitation can’t cancel out your travel plans when you ride on this tire!
Other performance features of the Winterforce 2 include:
-
Wide circumferential grooves and sweeping lateral grooves easily clear slush and water from the tread pattern for stellar winter traction
-
For long-lasting winter performance, this tire utilizes full-depth tread features, giving you consistent performance for the life of the tire
-
Backed by the Three-Peak Mountain Snowflake symbol, this tire is approved for use in severe winter weather
-
For confident traction in cold, dry weather, this tire leverages a semi-solid center rib area and wide shoulder blocks, creating a constant contact with the road for a strong linear feel
Firestone Winterforce 2 Treadwear and Warranty
Thanks to Firestone’s dedication to performance that lasts, the Winterforce 2 is built with an array of winter-ready features that battle the elements without compromising tread life. With its interlocking 3D sipes and computer optimized tread design, the Winterforce 2 resists uneven treadwear, giving you severe weather traction you can count on for many winters to come.
While it’s not backed by a traditional mileage warranty, you can still rest easy when you hit the road. How? Just back your new Firestone tires with our exclusive Certificates. When covered, your Winterforce 2 tires will be protected against road hazards all the way down to 3/32’’ of treadwear.
And if your Firestone winter tires undergo any damage that we can’t safely repair, we’ll give you a brand new replacement tire, no questions asked!
(You can add our Certificate coverage in your cart!)
Whether you drive a compact car, a passenger car or even a minivan, if you plan on going toe-to-toe with winter, you want the Firestone Winterforce 2 on your ride.

Because of the aggressive tread design, I didn't expect them to be quiet. But I don't notice the road noise, but then again I'm not hyper-sensitive. I got them last year because I do pizza delivery in a rural area. But we only had a few snowfalls of over 3", so I wasn't able to give them a thurough test. But I am happy with the traction and handleing of what snow and wet driving I did . I replaced them with all season tires for the summer so I didn't wear them rapidly on the hot summer asphalt. And then I just put the snow tires back on the last week of November in preparation for this winter. Never know how much snow northern Indiana will get. It varies every year.

Gas mileage went up 1 mpg. Quiet for snow tires. Just sorry it's not proper to leave them on all year around. I'll get new rims so I can put new all season tires for summer on without switching these.
