Cooper Discoverer ATP II

Outfit your adventure-ready vehicle with the Cooper Discoverer ATP II 265/65R17 112T SL RWL, an exclusive all-terrain tire built for pickups and SUVs that need confident off-road traction, wet-road control, and steady highway manners. This 265/65R17 Discoverer ATP II is a popular fitment for select Chevrolet Colorado, GMC Canyon, Nissan Frontier, Ford Ranger, Toyota Tacoma, Toyota 4Runner models, plus similar midsize trucks, SUVs, crossovers, and daily-driven trail vehicles using 17-inch wheels.

Best for: drivers who want an exclusive Cooper all-terrain tire with wet-road control, off-road bite, and long tread life on midsize trucks, SUVs, and daily-driven adventure vehicles, especially in a 265/65R17 size with 112T SL capability.

Why choose the Cooper Discoverer ATP II in 265/65R17?

  • All-terrain traction: Alternating shoulder scallops and wide off-road shoulder tread blocks help the ATP II dig into loose terrain like dirt, mud, gravel, and sand.

  • Wet and winter-road control: Wet Grip Grooves and Snow Claw technology help support grip on rainy pavement, slushy roads, and light winter conditions.

  • Durability for truck use: Stone Ejector Ledges help reduce stone retention, while rugged shoulder lugs add traction in aired-down driving and help resist damage away from pavement.

  • Highway stability: A solid center rib, stable tread area, interlocking sipes, and durable tread compound help deliver predictable handling and long-lasting all-terrain performance.

  • Comfort and warranty: Proprietary tread block sizing and spacing support a smoother, quieter ride, and the Cooper Discoverer ATP II is backed by a 60,000-mile manufacturer's treadwear warranty.

The tires are great, they have an aggressive look to it with little to no road noise which is exactly what I wanted.

I am on my second set of these tires. Awesome tire for the first 75% of tread then they fade. Unfortunutley the first set were at that 75% wear in the fall and the wet/snow covered roads over the winter months made these tires have little traction. To be fair most tires with only 25% life/tread left will struggle with traction but these tires were so good the first 75% that the last %25 seemed not very good. However, I will likely buy these again just sooner.
