New Tires and Wheel Store in Clarksville, TN 37040

This has been the absolute worst experience in my life. I will never make the mistake of purchasing from Discount Tire again! There's not enough characters allowed to tell the whole truth of the incompetence we experienced through this transaction. I called DT to inquire about tires because their website had inaccurate tire sizes for my car. The employee's tone made it clear that he was not interested in helping and suggested I call the 800 number for "better assistance." I should've ended everything there, but since I've had good service in the past, I chalked it up to a bad hire who hasn't been fired yet. The phone rep was much better. Got the right tires and waited until my purchase was complete before disconnecting. My online appt was scheduled. Two days later DT called to say they had to order the tires from the supplier so they needed to reschedule. I confirmed the new appt and was sent a reminder the day of that the tires were in and my appointment was still available. I show up at the appointment and the guy at the counter sends me to another building without even asking if I had an appointment. He assumed I was a walk-in. I returned after 15 minutes since no one came to check on all the customers sent to the abyss. They rudely informed me that they were waiting on other customers who also had appointments. On my way back, I saw someone wearing a different shirt and assumed, correctly, that he was a manager. He asked my name and looked confused as I was not checked in. OMG, how stupid will this get? I explained what happened up to this point, and he told me what should have happened. Obviously I don't care about what should have happened. I had an appointment that was not honored. Nevertheless, he returns 30 minutes later, saying they will take the vehicle. I drove my other car to an appointment and left my wife's car with DT. An hour later, I received a call to pick up the vehicle because the tires they were supposed to put on the car had not arrived, and my appointment "should have been rescheduled." Wait, it gets dumber. They charged and refunded my account 3 times. It's been 3 weeks, and my tires still aren't in. How hard can this be?

I have been to a dozen or so tire stores over 40 years, the Discount Tire at Merchant Ct. is a very good store! The staff has been great, good value, selection, etc. A great store!

This company is “top of the line.” Made an appointment on line. When I arrived I was helped right away and customer service was awesome. Wait time would have been 1 hour but was in and out within 35 minutes. Issues resolved and cost was “zero.” Was shocked and extremely happy! I am 56 years old and just moved from Cali and I can truly say that this Discount Tires has been my BEST experience EVER!! Great Job and keep up the good work!!
