Discount Tire in Salem, Oregon, is your home for tires and rims! We’re located on Lancaster Drive Northeast (Route 213) just south of Sunnyview Road Northeast.

From our five service bays, our on-site experts perform precision services, including wheel and tire installation, rotation, balancing, repair and winter tire changes. Stop by for a free air pressure check and inspection. Walk-ins are welcome or schedule an appointment for your convenience.

Try to charge for a whole set of tires when they hadn’t even looked at my vehicle. Didn’t offer to look at until I asked what was wrong with it in the first place. Just a small little nail causing a slow leak. I hope they don’t work on commission. Nothing wrong with any of the tires other than a small nail. Wanted over $1,000 for a new set when I have the certificates to replace them if needed. What a scam. This is not my home store and it makes me appreciate my hometown discount tire. Bad publicity for discount tires in general.

On 9/24, I ordered tires, scheduled an appointment and signed up for a credit card all while on the phone with a representative, he was attentive and patient. I scheduled the appointment for 10/15 knowing I had to schedule out for work and the representative on the phone assured me it would not be a problem to schedule so far out. On Friday 10/11, I got an email confirming my upcoming appointment for 10/15 @ 9:30. When I arrived on 10/15 my appointment was gone! The sales representative in store told me there was some mix up and I had to go online and reschedule for a later appointment that day. I was able to rearrange my day and made an appointment for 3:30pm. When I arrived back at the location at 3:30, I was finally checked in at 3:51. My car was not taken back until 5:06pm. When I asked about they wait, the sales associate noticed my appointment was rang into their system as a walk in and so my vehicle was not a priority. I finally left with my vehicle at 5:50pm. The staff was friendly but they need to work on their system. The only other thing I watched and heard multiple people getting frustrated about was the amount of wait time to talk to an associate at the counter because they were all on phone calls, lobby was full of people waiting to check in and only 3 associates at the counter all on the phone. I understand as I worked retail and had to answer the phone while helping customers but the phone should be placed on hold while you assist the customer in front of you and then return to the call and then take turns between phone and lobby or hire an associate just to answer phones because they got a ton of calls.
