Fantastic service.

I have been buying tires from this store for quite some time. On rare occasions I have had to have flats fixed. I trust them to fix flats correctly. I am the rare customer that wants to watch the work done. I like being able to see the brakes with the wheels off, being a former engine builder. I was able to find the wheel lock that I forgot to hand them initially. I was there to find out if the puncture was too large to repair or not. If too large a puncture, a new tire is needed. The repair man was able to repair the tire fortunately. They were pretty busy at noon. Next time I would make an earlier appointment to bring the car in. Overall, it tool about 1.5 hours for the car to be ready from my appointed time. That was fair.

I had scheduled an appointment for a specific time. I still had to wait behind walk-ins. If I have a scheduled appointment, a bay should be reserved for me when I arrive. Its not hard, you have 'x' number of bays for walkins, and you schedule appointments accordingly for other bays. This is made even easier with computers. I waited 2 and a half hours after my scheduled appointment due to all the walk-ins ahead of me. What this highlights, is that there is absolutely no system in place for people who order ahead and schedule an appointment. You will still be waiting behind walk-ins regardless of your scheduled appointment. I had more issues as well, after my tire change (which I bought the most expensive package), 2 of my tire sensors went bad, immediately after the tires were replaced. I was told "oh it just happens." So now due to negligent, amateur, and a rushed tire swap, because I had to wait 2.5 hours after my appointment time just to be seen, they hastily and haphazardly damaged 2 sensors during the replacement. So that's an additional $260 I will have to spend. They also lost my centercap for one of my wheels. So tack that additional cost to me on top of the tire pressure sensors they broke. Oh, and they improperly balanced my tires. I scheduled an appointment and guess what, I waited an extra hour AFTER my scheduled appointment and had the tires re-balanced properly. I've been a customer of Discount / America's Tire for over 20 years. I am extremely disappointed in my experience and I will likely not be repeating business with them after this. They managed to cost me 30% more in repairs and replacements from their own negligence.
