The overall performance was great

Honestly, the lack of professionalism demonstrated by John was a dealbreaker for me personally, considering he was the supervisor/manager on duty. To be fair, that’s the first time I’ve had a random employee snap at me unexpectedly once a subordinate informed him of my situation. Truly disappointed, from (1) John refusing to take initiative, despite his subordinate’s email which informed my warranty provider that they’d accept a mailed check. Of course, to add insult to injury (2) John then claims he won’t do any work unless he gets the check the same day (keep in mind, the employee already left at this point). To make matters worse, (3) when the female employee initially briefed him on the situation, since the employee had to leave early, John decided to verbally snap at me in a very hostile and arrogant manner, which bewildered me and even the female employee was dumbfounded given her facial reaction. Finally, I come up with a solution, my warranty provider is willing to send the check to me via the mail, but requires the documentation of Discount Tire to do so. As such, I inform John, I’ll pay now for all four tires if there is a discount for a package deal. Inevitably, John has no offers, clearly absent minded, despite the fact I had been at the shop for roughly 4 hours or so, possibly even longer. I changed my mind, and bought three tires which was the minimum, given the tread life. Moral of the story: the probability of me doing business with Discount Tire again is highly unlikely. The only solution I see to change that would be for Discount Tire to make amends, but I’m certainly not counting on it.
