These tires grip extremely well. The cornering repponse is very close to dedicated summer tires. It's easy to see why that is when you look at the tread. The outer tread blocks are summer tires, with the all-season capability coming from the inside, siped tread. On my BMW, they were not terribly quiet when new, and have grown increasing noisy over time. To be fair, this is partially due to my staggered tire set-up and therefore an inability to properly rotate the tires.Get these tires if you're looking for maximum performance for your dollar in an all-season design. If you're looking for a bit better ride and a quieter tire, I'd look elsewhere; such as to the Michelin Pilot A/S Plus. I have those on my BMW Z4 and they are smoother, yet lack the ultimate grip of the Goodyears.
