Nice grippy tire for my wife's car. The is the second time I have purchased this type of tire, the first time was on a 98 Grand Prix and they proved themselves when she was cut off by a car marking a right turn from the 2 lanes from her left which she missed by inches. I am a return customer for this model of tire.

The Pirelli's we replaced with these Michelins would start tread separation at about 35,000 miles, which is why we are trying a new brand. The Michelins have a nice, smooth ride and seem to hold the road better. They do have a weightier feel, making you work just a little harder to steer. An unusual thing about these tires is our gas mileage dropped 2 mpg. Maybe after they wear down a little we might get that back.We haven't had any rain since we had the Michelins installed so I can't rate the wet handling. And snow is very rare in the Phoenix area so I can't rate snow handling, either. So far we are happy with the Michelins, but the real test will be how they wear.
