Pirelli Winter 240 Sottozero S2
Winter chills don’t have to stop your high performance thrills. Unbridled UHP handling meets all the stopping power and icy control of a dedicated snow tire in the Pirelli Winter 240 Sottozero S II.
Pirelli Winter 240 Sottozero S II Features
You can count on predictable stopping power and responsive handling thanks to the Pirelli Winter 240 Sottozero S2. There’s a reason it’s selected by many elite car manufacturers as the original equipment winter tire for sports cars in areas that experience harsh ice and snow: it’s a performer, winter after winter.
This UHP snow tire boosts overall winter performance through its patented sipe construction. It increases contact area and tire rigidity for relentless grip, stability and braking in challenging winter conditions such as ice and snow. It also means added tread block stability for more responsive handling on freezing dry roads.
The Winter Sottozero II also features an asymmetrical tread pattern that provides multi-purpose traction. The inside of the tread pattern uses sweeping grooves for low road noise and grip on deep snow. Meanwhile, the outside tread design leverages circumferential grooves to clear water and slush from the contact area, ensuring confident performance no matter what the weather looks like.
Other performance features of the Winter 240 Sottozero S2 include:
- Wide shoulder blocks and a semi-solid center rib ensure razor sharp steering response on dry roads.
- For reliable traction no matter how cold the weather gets, this tire features a Temperature Dynamic Compound.
- Approved for use in severe winter weather, including ice and snow, this tire is 3-Peak Mountain Snowflake Certified.
Pirelli Winter 240 Sottozero S2 Treadwear and Warranty
Thanks to its optimized contact patch, the Winter 240 Sottozero distributes the weight of your vehicle across its surface. Not only does this create rapid steering response on dry roads, it also helps your Pirelli snow tires resist uneven treadwear. This translates to long-lasting (and thrilling) winter performance.
And to make things even better, you can back your Pirelli tires with our exclusive Certificates for matchless peace of mind. Protecting your tires against road hazards all the way down to 3/32’’ of tread, our Certificates are the most robust tire coverage on the market.
And if by chance your tires are damaged beyond repair, we’ll give you a brand new replacement tire. That’s peace of mind that no winter storm can ice out.
(You can add our Certificate coverage in the cart of your order.)
Don’t park your luxury sports car this winter. Outfit your ride with a set of Pirelli Winter 240 Sottozero S II tires and rule the road all winter long.

Also bought rim with the tires ,had surgery and had not driven the truck that much and when I did it started wobbling when I reach 60 miles a hour. Took it back and they tell me a rim was bent. They told me that l had to pay about two hundred dollars for a new one as rims did not have a guarantee . Told them I had barely used the truck because I had surgery and could not drive. Paid so much money for new tires and rims and they come out with that. I don’t think that’s fair. I just started driving again but I do not want to pay so much money for a new rim. I really think it was a factory defect but they told me sorry we can’t do anything about it .

Drives real comfortable even on our bumpy roads that need repaving. Never been happier with a set of new tires. Had 2 days of snow weather was nervous to drive but these tires gave real good traction.
