Built with stainless steel studs, the Nokian LT3 Studded digs into ice and snow, so you can keep on rolling on those frigid roads. Plus, its stainless steel studs resist corrosion so you get maximum grip for the long haul.
Designed in the far north of Scandinavia, the Hakkapeliitta LT3 has an Arctic Grip Compound that maintains its flexibility in sub-zero temperatures (without compromising the tire’s durability and resistance to cuts and tearing).

on snow and ice, there is not another tire made that can match the grip, breaking, cornering and acceleration that these tires provide. The down side: dry road driving on these is loud (as you would expect from a studded tire) the upside: grip in winter is like driving on pavement!!!! My last set lasted over ten years of hard winter driving mixed with dry weather driving. I could have kept them for another season or two, but I figured that after ten seasons or more, it was time to replace them.

These tires are hands down the best of the best in terms of snow tires if you want to keep your family safe in snowy conditions you buy these tires granted they are a little pricey but you pay for a quality tire
