Nokian Tire Hakkapeliitta 8
Need a non-studded snow tire that can duke it out with winter’s worst—without giving up an inch of dry handling or comfort?
Then you need the Nokian Hakkapeliitta 8, one of our exclusive snow tires.
Nokian Hakkapeliitta 8 Features
Few names are as closely associated with relentless winter performance as the Nokian Hakkapeliitta 8. Winter weather may nix other drivers’ travel plans, but not yours. Outfit your ride with the Nokian Hakkapeliitta 8 and you’ll be ready for the journey regardless of what Jack Frost or Mother Nature has in store.
From dry roads to streets coated in ice and snow, you’ll be ready for it all.
Starting with the rubber compound design and moving up from there, the Hakkapeliitta 8 is specialized for winter performance that doesn’t quit.
Designed for (and in) the polar climes of Finland, the Hakkapeliitta 8 is built with a Cryo-SIlane Gen 2 tread compound. Not only does that tech-y name sound cool, it also helps ensure that your Hakkapeliitta 8 snow tires keep their cool when freezing temps strike, so sub-zero weather need not concern you.
On top of that, this space-age compound features rapeseed oil, silica and natural rubber.
What does that mean for you?
It means the Hakkapeliitta 8 digs into ice and snow while also resisting tears, punctures and uneven treadwear, ensuring that you get confidence and longevity from your Hakka tires, no matter how bad the roads get.
Other performance features of the Hakkapeliitta 8 include:
- Three Peak Mountain Snowflake Certified, this Nokian tire is approved for use in extreme winter weather.
- For surprising stopping power in deep snow, this tire features a specialized sawtooth pattern on the reverse side of its shoulder blocks.
- Diagonal interlocking support sipes guarantee precise steering feedback.
- Powerful control on dry, frigid roads is provided by the solid center tread area and large shoulder blocks.
Nokian Hakkapeliitta 8 Treadwear and Warranty
With the name Nokian proudly stamped on its sidewall, rest assured that this tire can perform in Arctic-level winter conditions. But that name also ensures that this tire is built to support the weight of your vehicle without distorting the tread pattern. Plus, its winter tread compound helps further resist uneven treadwear, providing you with long-lasting winter performance that can withstand winter in the U.S. as well as the brutal cold of a Scandinavian winter.
While the Nokian Hakkapeliitta 8 isn’t backed by a mileage warranty, you can still drive worry-free when you add on our exclusive Certificates.
Here to protect Nokian tires against road hazards, our exclusive Certificates will cover them from the first flurries of snow all the way down to 3/32” of wear.
And if your snow tires undergo any damage that we can’t safely repair, we’ll get you lined up with a brand new replacement tire.
(You can add our Certificate coverage in the cart of your order.)
When the weather goes south, you may not need to resort to chains or studs. Simply outfit your vehicle with the Nokian Hakkapeliitta 8 and get all the traction you need this winter.
