Continental Extreme Contact DWS

For a balance of performance features and touring-style comfort, choose the Continental ExtremeContact DWS tire. This all-season touring tire offers outstanding dry grip and reliable wet and snow grip, thanks to a unique tread pattern with traction grooves and extensive siping. The tread features Tuned Performance Indicators that disappear when tire wear reduces optimum performance in dry, wet, or snowy conditions, keeping you aware of the tires condition. To boost tread life and fuel efficiency, the tire uses Dynamic Temperature Distribution to reduce distortion for improved wear and rolling resistance. With its touring features and performance attributes, the Continental ExtremeContact DWS tire is a great fit for your sporty sedan or crossover.

Only have one weeks worth of driving on them so far, but if they are half as good on my wife's Optima as they were on her Legacy they will still be 100x better than the stock tires we replaced! Not expecting them to perform like they did on an all wheel drive Subaru but I'm fairly confident they will make a world of difference compared to the stockers. Will update if my opinion changes...

Somewhat noisy, good in the snow. Prefer a more traditional tread design like Michelin or Pirelli. Discount is super from a Custer experience perspective.

These are my favorite passenger car tire. The first set of these I had on another vehicle. They perform flawlessly. In total I have driven roughly 250,000 miles on the Extreme DWS tires. I have yet to have a traction problem. When we bought the Jetta, I traded in the new tires that came standard, and put a set of these on the car. They are pricey but I get anywhere from 65-80k out of each set. Not bad for a performance tire.
