A solid center rib to improve straight-line stability for that “on-center” feel.
Increased grip in wet conditions for better control thanks to four main channels that keep water away from the tire’s contact patch.
Oblique lateral grooves in tread blocks increase water dispersal capability while in motion, helping to reduce hydroplaning.
Large shoulder blocks are mounted towards the curb (where the majority of cornering force occurs) for precise and predictable turning, especially for vehicles with a high center of gravity.

This is my 4th set of these exact same tires so I am familiar with them. This set is much worse in the wet than the previous sets. Something has changed. Dry grip is not quite as good either, but still pretty good compared to the drop-off in wet performance.
