The Michelin XZE is a regional and line haul tire with exceptional performance and features.
Michelin XZE Features
With an extra wide and extra deep tread to resist wear even in the most high scrub regions and working conditions, the XZE is an excellent steer and all position tire for your consideration.
It’s Michelin’s longest wearing tire and delivers on its promise to live and work as hard as you do. Featuring buttressed shoulders to resist wear and tearing, extra fortified sidewalls (curb guards) to fight back against impacts and abrasions and stone drilling is a worry of the past with its groove bottom protectors.
Other performance features of the XZE include:
- 5 rib zig zag tread pattern to throw out water and maintain wet traction
- Anti cut and chip compound (in LHR versions with star designation)
- Mini groove wall sipes for long term even treadwear
- Optimized tread pattern for long lived traction and handling
- Rectangular bead bundle simulates a solid steel rod strapping tire to wheel, stabilizing bead region, lessening fatigue and extending casing life
- Curb guards to fight against abrasion and impacts
- Variable pitch groove walls and Groove Bottom Protectors to resist stone drilling
Michelin XZE Treadwear and Warranty
The Michelin XZE qualifies for Michelin’s limited warranty of 7 years or 700k miles and 3 retread limited guarantee if the tires are used only in long haul applications.
However, if you want more coverage and peace of mind, consider our exclusive Certificates which cover tires down to 3/32” of wear. In the unlikely event your tire fails and we can’t safely repair it, we’ll give you a new replacement!
