This is my chosen 'winter' tire (I have another set for summer conditions). Even in the Mountains where I live, most of the winter driving is on dry roads and so one needs a tire that performs well for spirited driving and is not too noisy. This tire does well in that aspect. But when it snows up here, plows can be spotty and one then needs a tire that can take you safely through the worst snow and ice - the Michelin is again that tire. A great balance. I am thankful that Discount Tire steered me in this direction!
