Michelin Defender T + H

The Michelin Defender T+H: a tire that combines all-season traction, class-leading ride comfort, and an extremely long projected service life—all from one of the best brands in the business.

Michelin Defender T+H Features

Whether you're hitting the open road or depending on it for your commute, the Michelin Defender T H is the tire that's making it happen for hundreds of thousands of happy drivers.

Compared to its competitors, the Defender T+H boasts the longest-lasting tread life in its segment thanks to Michelin's EverTread compound and MaxTouch construction.

Developed by Michelin's expert staff of engineers, MaxTouch construction helps ensure road forces and your vehicle's weight are evenly distributed across the entirety of your set of Defenders. Combined with its EverTread compound, the T+H resists uneven tread wear while promoting reliable all-weather performance that lasts, season after season.

Other performance features of the Defender T+H include:

  • Confident all-season traction provided by the IntelliSipe technology, which maximizes biting edges for stellar performance in wet and wintry weather.
  • Comfort Control Technology helps reduce ride noise to ensure a quiet, comfortable ride.
  • Confident control in wet weather thanks to the hydroplaning resistance via its wide longitudinal grooves, which repel water from the contact patch.

Michelin Defender T+H Treadwear and Warranty

Michelin spent years developing the Defender T+H and its robust package of features. Due to Michelin's dedication to technological advancement, you can count on your new Michelin Defender T+H tires to last an incredibly long time.

As a result, Michelin confidently backs up all available sizes of the Defender T+H with an industry-leading 80,000-mile limited treadwear warranty. But if you want tire protection to properly defend your Michelin Defender tires, our exclusive Certificates will cover them on down to 3/32” of wear.

Plus, in the extremely unlikely event they fail, we'll set you up with a brand new replacement Defender so you can get on the road again, hassle free.

(You can add our Certificate coverage in the cart of your order.)

The road of life is long and unpredictable, but with a tire as long-lasting and reliable as the Michelin Defender T+H, you can count on smooth roads ahead.

In the three months I have owned them, I love the Defender T + H tires. I live in Chicago and drive my car for short errands in the city and on the weekend. When I first drove the tires off the Discount Tire lot, I could tell they were cushy and premium. I used the word "plush" to describe them to my friends and I found myself driving a little too fast when I first got them since they were so smooth on the road. They make no noticeable noise on the highway. There are often a lot of potholes on the road and the tires handle them great. My car is a comfortable ride even on a bumpy road. The tires excel on warmer days and dry weather. I also feel confident in rain and wet conditions. I felt safe driving them in light snow and super cold temperature (below 0 degrees Fahrenheit). However, I have not driven them in deep snow or ice. Chicago regularly salts and plows roads. I would side on getting true all weather or snow tires if you get major snowfalls or live more rurally. These tires are definitely an upgrade over the cheap brands I bought before. The rubber looks just as black and stylish as the day I bought the tires. I hope they last a long time!
