Bought these for the race track. 3 sessions and a lot of hwy commute to work and they still look great. I will be buying these again. Great dual purpose

These were going to be my street tires and I bought the Autocross tires at the same time. Both have taken me to another SCCA Sacramento Region Class Championship. I raced a few times in Stockton on the R-S3 tires because I don't have a trailer and did not want to drive there on the Autocross tires. I won some races on them, but they were not good enough to beat wide Hoosier slicks. The last event I took the Autocross tires and won on Saturday, second on Sunday. That was all that I needed for the Championship. The R-S2 tires Won Three Championships before they needed to be replaced and the competition was getting tough to beat on slicks.

I wanted a summer performance tire that was better than the Dunlop SP600 that came with my STI. These are the ones! I don't expect great tread life, considering what these tires are. So far, I am very pleased with the outstanding dry grip. Wet driving isn't as bad as I thought it would be, and they are actually quieter than expected. Thanks Discount Tire for a great price and service!

These tires are great on the road/highway and loved being abused on the track. I have put this set through 5+ track days and some autox. They have also served about 10k highway miles. I have about 3/32 left on these and it is about time to replace them, you can bet I will be buying them again. the grip is amazing for the price you pay (255/40/17) I am comparing these to BFG procomp2(best compared to following), Yokohama ES100, Michelin Pilot OE Scion tires, and Bridgestone RE050. These are put to shame compared to the abuse these have taken.

No other tire like it for SCCA Solo competition. They are sticky beyond belief. Best part they can be used for everyday driving too. Good wet road performance. Passable on ice. Cost is great for the performance.
