Liberty 4WD W/O TPMS
- Miles Driven On Tires:38000
- Driving Conditions:Mostly Dry
- Driving Style:Mostly Highway
Make no mistake these are traction tires and as such they behave like traction tires. They provided excellent traction in snow and dirt, but they had a good bit of noise when new and quickly got worse. They became badly cupped on the inside tread of the front tires. Frequent rotation did not reduce the rate of cupping and only lessened the noise for a short time. In addition to noise there was a good bit of rumble felt in the front due to the cupping. After about 38,000 miles I could no longer deal with the noise and the Rugged Terrains are history. As a side note these were installed on a 2006 Jeep Liberty that is towed behind a motor home. I you want a decent non-MT traction tire and are willing to put up with some tire noise these would be an okay choice, other wise look elsewhere.

I bought these to replace old Duelers for my truck. Brand new, they were actually worse than the old tires. Outside of winter, these did pretty good.
