The shaved tread makes this a low tread life tire. However, a proper burnout at the correct tire pressure will assure you of extreme launch performance. Have been able to cut two and half tenths off of 60 foot times over street tires, to 1.75-1.8 range.. Best used as an application specific tire, as the shaved tread creates high risk of hydro planing . Not recommended areas with frequent rains. An outstanding race only tire.
