Toyo Tire Celsius II
Toyo Celsius® II
Any road. Any season. Any adventure. Handle it all with confidence when you outfit your ride with the Toyo Celsius II all-weather tire!
Toyo Celsius® II Features
A sequel to the hit that was the OG Celsius, the Toyo Celsius II is an all-weather touring tire that delivers where you need it most: reliable traction throughout the seasons.
Season to season, the Celsius II offers amazing drive comfort, wet weather grip and even traction in light snow. Backed by the three-peak mountain snowflake severe weather rating, the Celsius II is approved for use in extreme winter weather, including light snow.
That means the Celsius II is an excellent year round option for drivers in regions that see four seasons, including mild winter weather. Note, winter tires are the best bet if your region experiences heavy winter conditions.
Plus, it comes in a huge range of sizes, making it the perfect addition to many vehicle types, including passenger cars, crossovers and SUVs.
Other features of the Toyo Celsius II include:
A new all-weather tread design with high-sipe density and zig-zag shaped tread blocks for optimal wet and dry seasonal traction.
High levels of grip and tread flexibility in nearly any conditions thanks to a specialized silica tread compound.
Increased light snow and slush performance via snow claws and slush grooves to dig into and remove snow and slush from the tread.
Outstanding tire stability, driving experience (cornering, braking, accelerating) and reduced tire wear from its asymmetric tread design.

Touareg
First time trying an all-weather tire like this one and over all it's been pretty good. I have noticed a tendency for them to develop flat spots when cold. This creates a vibration in the front end at around 60 mph, but usually disappears after around 15 minutes of driving. I've had the opportunity to drive them in some heavy, wet slush and they performed pretty well. There was some slippage and the traction control did kick in momentarily, but everything stayed under control. They don't inspire the same confidence as a full winter tire setup, but if you're only dealing with light snow, they're probably going to be OK. I can't speak to the longevity since I've only put around 1500 miles on them.
