Pirelli Scorpion Ice
If ice and snow are unavoidable parts of your winter commute, be sure to outfit your SUV or crossover with the right tire to handle the worst of it. It’s all in the name: the Pirelli Scorpion Ice and Snow.
Pirelli Scorpion Ice Features
Winter weather doesn’t have to freeze out your SUV or crossover. Upgrade the rubber on your ride to a set of Pirelli Scorpion Ice snow tires and you’ll be prepared to face those winter streets no matter how bad the weather gets.
From the molecular level on up (no, we’re not exaggerating), the Scorpion Ice is optimized for winter performance. Starting with a winter focused tread compound, the engineers at Pirelli designed the Scorpion Ice with silica-enhanced rubber. This helps ensure that the Scorpion Ice & Snow stays flexible when freezing weather comes to stay.
Shaped into an asymmetric pattern with four wide circumferential grooves, the Scorpion Ice and Snow repels water and slush, helping your vehicle resist hydroplaning. This unique tread pattern also keeps you in control of your vehicle whether roads are dry, blanketed in snow or slicked over in ice.
Other performance features of the Scorpion Ice and Snow include:
- 3-Peak Mountain Snowflake Certified, this tire is approved for use in severe snow and winter weather.
- Angled independent tread blocks and dense siping provides all the biting edges you need for sure-footed grip on snow and ice-covered streets.
- Controlled steering response and confident handling in dry conditions are provided by the large shoulder blocks and the off-road-inspired carcass design.
Pirelli Scorpion Ice Treadwear and Warranty
Thanks to Pirelli’s relentless dedication to tires with a range of capabilities, the Scorpion Ice is designed to ideally support the weight of your vehicle. Add in the interlocking sipes that stabilize the tread pattern and you can expect even treadwear and long-lasting performance from this Pirelli snow tire winter after winter.
While it isn’t backed by a mileage warranty, you can still take to those icy streets with complete confidence. Our exclusive Certificates will cover your new Pirelli snow tires from the first drive down to 3/32’’ of treadwear.
And in the event that your tires are damaged, we’ll set you up with a brand new replacement tire (provided your tire can’t be safely repaired).
(You can add our Certificate coverage in the cart of your order.)
There’s no need to let winter win in the battle for your commute. Opt for a set of Pirelli Scorpion Ice and Snow winter tires, and you’ll be able to conquer those winter streets without a worry.

Cayenne
- Miles Driven On Tires:1000
- Driving Conditions:Mixed Dry Rain
- Driving Style:Mostly Highway
I only use these tires for winter use and put them on November 25th and take them off at the end of February. They are fantastic on wet roads and plowed roads with 2’’-3” of snow. I can safely get in and out of my driveway which is steep even with 4”-6"of snow. I drive up to Kirkwood Ski Resort on SR 88 which is plowed, but gets very icy. I have never had any issues with the ice, but I obey the speed limit in the chain control zones and drive 25 MPH. I have seen numerous spin outs on SR 88 including 4WD vehicles due to excessive speed and lack of snow tires.

The tires made the difference between parking my 2012 Camaro this winter, and driving it daily. The tires were perfect for winter driving in Utah.
