These are absolutely the gold standard of winter tires. Stopping grip on the snow approaches that on the dry. I’ve been driving winter tires in VT and CO for 40 years and these are the best. I have a new pair of Bridgestone Blizzacks on my SUV and the Nokians are about 20% better. Tire wear seems very good as after 8000 miles tread depth is similar to new. As with any winter tire you give up dry performance (my car is a BMW M5) but they still drive better any winter tire I have owned. On a full snow covered road if you do a full ABS brake stop you will plastered onto your seatbelt, what tire can do that in the snow? No studs, tire is better without them. Cornering grip in snow is also frighteningly good, it makes no sense. This is the safest and best winter tire on the market. I have multiple vehicles, the Nokians are twice as good as Continentals and 75% better than BFG K03s in snow. Don’t purchase the Vredestein winter tires, sidewalls fail.
