Backed by a name renowned the world over for matchless performance and elegant luxury, the Michelin Latitude Alpin LA 2 is here to make your light truck, SUV or crossover a stout winter performer that won’t back down at the sight of falling snow or freezing rain.
Winter just met its match.
Michelin Latitude Alpin LA 2 Features
Your winter champion is here in the Michelin Latitude Alpin LA2. From one of the most trusted names in the tire industry comes a winter tire that is engineered to help you face winter’s harshest weather with absolute ease. Own your winter drive with the Michelin Latitude Alpin LA2.
Built from the ground up to conquer winter, the Latitude Alpin LA2 is here to step in where your all-season tires fear to tread. Via Michelin’s Helio Compound 3G, their third generation of this advanced tread compound that’s enriched with sunflower oil, the LA2’s tread rubber stays soft and flexible in sub-zero temperatures, giving your vehicle the best traction possible as mercury drops.
And for sure-footed grip in every winter road condition, including dry, wet, slush-covered, snow blanketed and slicked over in ice, (we seriously mean EVERY winter road condition) the Latitude Alpin LA2 features 3-D Stabiligrip Technology, which leverages variable shaped sipes and tread block reinforcement for grip and stability, no matter how bad the weather gets.
Other performance features of the Latitude Alpin LA2 include:
- Three Peak Mountain Snowflake certified, this tire is approved by the RMA for use in extreme winter weather.
- Thanks to its lowered rolling resistance and increased fuel efficiency, this tire meets Michelin’s Green X standard.
- Responsive highway handling and load-carrying stability are provided by the wide outside shoulder blocks and the semi-solid center rib area.
Michelin Latitude Alpin LA2 Treadwear and Warranty
Not known for cutting corners, Michelin pushed the limits with the Latitude Alpin LA2 snow tire. This includes its MaxTouch Construction and interlocking sipes. These features help ensure your new Michelin winter tires resist treadwear. It also guarantees stellar winter performance for many seasons to come.
Not seen on most winter tires, Michelin back all available sizes of the Latitude Alpin LA2 with a 25,000-mile manufacturer’s warranty. But if you want true road hazard protection for your new Alpin LA2 tires, our exclusive Certificates will cover them on down to 3/32” of wear.
When covered by our Certificates, your tires will be protected against damage. And if your Latitude snow tires do undergo any damage that can’t be safely repaired, we’ll get you back on the road with a brand new replacement tire.
(You can add our Certificate coverage in the cart of your order.)
Take winter on without giving up an inch of comfortable ride, traction, or longevity. Outfit your ride with a set of Michelin Latitude Alpin LA2 winter tires.
