Bought the Duratracs as we tow a fifth wheel and wanted a proven tire. These ride much quieter that the earlier version and are solid on the road. Not sure about tire wear at this point but so far so good.
I had Nitto Ridge Grappler tires before this set. The Nitto tires were really tough as they lasted over 65,000 miles. The only issue was traction on icy roads and noise on the highway. So when it was time to get new ones, I was looking for a tire that was 3 snow peaks rated. I was looking at the BF Goodrich KO3s but they were not available. The Goodyear Wrangler Duratrac RTs were very much a pleasant surprise. I noticed their quietness as soon as I left the tire shop. I can say these tires are really great. After a year and some pretty serious winter driving, I'd say I definitely made the right choice.
