Goodyear Ultra Grip Winter Studdable

Goodyear Ultra Grip Winter Studdable

Stopping power is the name of the Goodyear Ultra Grip Winter’s game. No matter what you’re driving, unlock your vehicle’s winter prowess and improve its braking performance with a set of these tires. Some features include:

  • The Goodyear Ultra Grip Winter tire is a winter tire ideal for passenger or crossover vehicles.

  • This tire stops an average of 6 feet shorter on snow than leading competitors, giving you an edge on the road this winter season.

  • Using wide tread grooves to push snow and slush away, the Ultra Grip Winter provides the ultimate wet winter traction.

  • For even more winter traction in snow, this tire is designed with a directional tread pattern so you go the direction you want.

  • Drivers will enjoy confident handling and security on the road with strong shoulder blocks to promote even treadwear and a controlled driving experience.

  • Multiple biting edges on the tread pattern deliver excellent grip on snow and ice-covered roads.

  • This tire is studdable, so you can add that extra layer of winter grip when extreme conditions such as black ice arise.

  • The 3-Peak Mountain Snowflake rating on this tire certifies that it is approved for use in extreme winter weather conditions.

  • This tire is ideal for passenger vehicles and crossover vehicles such as the Dodge Neon, Kia Rio and Subaru Legacy.

  • Goodyear guarantees this tire with a six year Workmanship & Materials Warranty, giving you confidence in your tire purchase.

Dry Traction

This is the quietest winter tire I have driven yet. The traction in snow, wet slush, sleet is good, ice and wet ice is average. I would buy them again based on the average of all these features. If you want the highest traction on ice and wet ice than I’d go with Nokian Hakka’s or Blizzaks.

Best aggressive snow tires for the money. I drive in all conditions at all times of day, often before the town crews start plowing. When it storms I am driving in to work to hop in a plow truck and clear snow from our facility roads. I drive an 04 Impala, have not had any issues getting there with these tires.

worst tires I ever purchased. Had them removed two days later. If you turn (rock from left to right) at highway speeds the car acts like a jet boat at slow speeds. hard to control the over shoot do to the mushy side walls.
