These tires stand up to rocks & off road abuse but still remain quiet & manageable.
Have taken trips to Moab and SW Colorado on mostly dry roads but also through some fairlynheavy some rain. The AT4Ws have performed great! They also did great offroad, just like the AT3Ws I had one prior to these. I just need some beadgrip wheels so I can airdown a little more to help with rock climbing. All-in-all, I'm very pleased with the AT4Ws.
I've had the A/T3 tires before and the A/T4W is just as good or better. I'm running 35 x 11.5 on my stock wheels with a 2" level on my 2019 Ram 1500. I was worried the bigger tires would be loud but there is less noise on these than the 32 x 11.5 Goodyear tires I replaced then with. I don't think I'll use anything but the Falkens now.
If you have a stock 3rd gen Tacoma, there will be some rubbing at full lock on uneven ground. I removed the mud guards to give the little bit of extra space needed to remove almost all rubbing.
