I got 35x11.5r17 on a gladiator. They run a little skinnier than the falken tires it replaced. Overall it’s a BFG tire. Can’t go wrong

Good afternoon, To whom it may concern, I wanted to take a moment to provide some feedback regarding an experience I had at one of your stores earlier this year. I received an email today regarding the tires I purchased, and it reminded me of the situation, so I decided it was finally time to speak up. My original intention was to purchase: BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO3 LT315/75 R16 127S E2 However, there was a manager at the store who repeatedly told me that those tires would not fit my truck and strongly recommended that I go with a smaller size. I was in a rush that day and trusted his recommendation, so I ultimately agreed to purchase: BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO3 LT295/75 R16 128S E1 RWL Honestly, I have regretted that decision ever since. I specifically wanted the LT315/75 R16 tires because of the additional two inches in size, the larger appearance, and the additional tread. I don’t like the way my truck looks with the smaller tires, especially knowing that the size I originally wanted may have been an option. Afterward, I called around to other Discount Tire locations, and nobody seemed to understand why the manager at this particular store told me the LT315/75 R16 tires wouldn’t fit or weren’t recommended for my truck. I was told by other locations that they regularly sell that size for trucks like mine. I understand that it has now been more than six months since the purchase, and I realize that may limit what can be done. However, I wanted to bring this situation to your attention because I feel that I made my purchase based on incorrect or, at minimum, overly restrictive information from the manager. The only reason I never came back sooner is because my time is extremely limited. I work out of town, I’m frequently gone for extended periods, and I simply haven’t had the time to spend another day sitting at the store waiting on my truck. At the time of the purchase in January, I trusted that the recommendation I was given was the correct one and that I was getting the setup I needed. Here is my order information in case someone would like to review the transaction and see exactly what happened: Order #: 5058163176 Order date: January 5, 2026 I’m not writing this email just to complain. I would genuinely appreciate it if someone could review the purchase, the tire size that was originally requested, and the recommendation that was given to me that day. If there is anything Discount Tire can do at this point to help make this right, I would certainly appreciate the consideration. Thank you for taking the time to read my feedback. I look forward to hearing back from someone regarding this situation. Respectfully, Ramon Gonzalez
