Some Tesla vehicles do come equipped with Tesla-specific tires that feature unique characteristics like foam embedded inside the tire to improve ride quality, but as long as load-carry capacity and other specifications are accurate, any tire can be equipped on a Tesla as long as it's the right size.
In fact, many of our Tesla-driving customers report longer tire life, improved battery range, quieter rides, and more responsive grip/performance when going with a set of aftermarket Tesla replacement tires rather than the OE-specific options!
Because Teslas are heavy and put down their near-instant torque directly to the road surface through their tires, they typically go through tires much quicker than ICE vehicles do. Stickier tires that come equipped on Dual Motor, Performance and Plaid Tesla models will also tend to wear even quicker, especially if they're staggered with wider tires on the rear of the vehicle. (We know it's hard to keep off the accelerator!)
